Val Ferret

Val Ferret is one of the two valleys, with Val Veny, which extends until the spectacular chain of the Mount Blanc. During summer it's well-provided with public transports and with different services for the tourists who want to spend a week-end to the mountains.

Nearby the camping you can find the departure of many paths, through which you can reach these refuges for a gorgeous day trip:

This wonderful valley is crossed by the river Dora di Ferret, that with the river Dora di Veny creates the river Dora Baltea, one of the most important affluent of the River Po. In the Dora Baltea there is a fishing reserve which is always stocked up with different kind of trouts.

At about one kilometre from the camping there is a beautiful golf course managed by the Courmayeur golf club, where you can spend a great day dipped into nature and playing golf with the Mount Blanc in the background.

And, finally, if you are a gourmet and you like the traditional cuisine, there are many restaurants where you can taste the typical Valdostana cookery. The staff can help you to find a good restaurant both for your palate and your wallet!
